New challenges facing Ukraine require new approaches to air purification and disinfection

In Ukraine, an inventor has combined natural ways to purify and sanitize the air into a technology that makes it possible to counter the effects of Russian aggression. The basis of the methods are natural components, which allows to clean and disinfect the air without harming the health of people and animals. The possibility to purify and disinfect the air with the help of natural components was found earlier to solve the problem of clean air deficit. Due to the work that needed to be done after the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, the planned presentation was postponed until the end of February 2022. Following Russian threats to use nuclear weapons against humanity, an opportunity was found to use natural components to protect against radioactive dust and smog. Natural components and a custom-designed constructional part for each method makes it possible, in case of air quality-related health threats, to create conditions in which the air is cleaned and decontaminated in the same way as in nature. Everything that is suspended in the air is glued to a surface that is destructive to pathogenic microorganisms and, after they are irretrievably transformed into biomass, is disposed of with them.

In wartime, the technology can be a weapon capable of providing protection against radioactive dust, smog, fungi, allergens, dust and anything that reduces air quality, with a 99.37% pathogen kill rate. The ability to adjust the time allows to clean and disinfect the air quickly, if necessary in seconds, which in war conditions can be used to prepare operating rooms and maintain sterility in them during operations. In contrast to facilities where air purification and disinfection systems are permanently installed, in temporary facilities air quality can be ensured by mobile units. Personal protective equipment provided by the technology ensures air purification and disinfection during breathing (inhalation and exhalation) and can be used during medical operations to protect medical personnel and patients. The technology makes it possible to purify and disinfect the air in medical, treatment, residential, office and other premises, as well as when using personal protective equipment in all places regardless of the location of users. Personal protective equipment can be used by military personnel while in the field and during combat operations. The low cost of production makes it possible to protect the military and civilian population from radioactive dust without resorting to the use of inconvenient-to-use, mostly scarce, gas masks and expensive components that have a limited shelf life. The technology also makes it possible to provide the civilian population and the military with clean air, which during the war has become particularly insufficient for children, who do not have access to sea air or simply clean air to form a healthy body.

Tests of the invention were conducted in one of the regions of Ukraine, as well as in Kiev, observations on the possibility of widespread use of the technology were conducted near the Pacific Ocean in the United States and the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal.
